International manufacturing organization seeks Engineering Manager who can lead production process engineers in support of plastic injection molding, painting and automated assembly operations.
Essential Functions
Inspire engineering staff members to more effectively perform the responsibilities they presently have plus prepare them for positions of greater responsibility, or success in their current roles.
Confer with production, packaging, warehouse, quality control, and maintenance managers to resolve engineering problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
Collaborate with maintenance to ensure that capital and major maintenance projects meet operational needs.
Be a champion for process and equipment improvements.
Responsible for project budgets, schedule, and operational performance of capital equipment.
Participate in Product Development and Product Lifecycle management meetings.
Requirements
5
years engineering experience such as process engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or similar.
