Responsible for design, development, and refinement of mechanical components and sub-systems to meet quality and regulatory standards, and customer needs, applying fundamental and advanced concepts, practices and procedures of mechanical engineering design. Develop sub-system level design strategies and lead design, development, testing & refinement of components and sub-systems according to internal and external standards. Report observations/problems clearly and concisely, recognizing and highlighting specific deviations and present possible solutions. Recommend changes in procedures and processes.
Requirements must include: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline and 4 years of experience in job offered or related design experience required. In lieu of bachelors degree and 4 years of experience, will accept masters degree and 2 years of experience, or Ph.D. and 0 years of experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
