Customer Service Representative

We are now seeking a Customer Service Representative in the Portage, MI area! Trillium Staffing, a leader in the staffing industry is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative in the Portage, MI area! This position is fast paced and requires strong customer service skills including phone and email, attention to detail, and ability to work under strict deadlines. Duties include answering participant calls, processing elections, claims, terminations, and changes in coverage. Other tasks include processing EDI files, auditing and verifying data, using HR related software systems and databases, and developing, documenting, and improving processes. This position involves processing and maintaining confidential information. The candidate will also complete a credit report check as well as local and state background checks. Normal hours are 8:
30am to 5pm but may be required to work 10:
30am to 7pm once every 2 weeks. o Basic knowledge of Health Reimbursement Plans and/or Flexible Spending Account plans
o Ability to maintain confidentiality
o Accurate data entry
o Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
o Must pass FSA certification testing within 60 days on the job

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
