Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Staff

Responsible for working with Marketing, R&D, Cost Accounting, and Materials on new product development, design for manufacturability, and assembly. Responsible for new product development phases, including planning, design/process, preproduction and production for medical devices, following IMS procedures. Develop system level design strategies, make recommendations to management and coordinate implementation. Design, development, testing & refinement of system, sub-system and components. Recognize and highlight specific deviations and report observations and/or problems. Provide on-going status reports including periodic reviews and evaluation of results to management. Record keeping in accordance with Stryker specifications. Lead product innovation and contribute new ideas. Search for ways to enhance performance and strive for reliability and quality in products.
Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree in engineering or related discipline. Four (4) years of experience in job offered or related manufacturing/operations engineering experience.
